Access Control
• Authorised employees are registered on the Management System.
• Access is controlled with biometric fingerprint readers.
• Only authorised employees who are registered on the Management System will be able to access the mining area.
• Time and attendance is recorded on Management System.
Equipment Possession Check
• Equipment contains RFID tags
• Equipment is allocated to employees via RFID tags
• The presence of equipment that is allocated to a person will be scanned with RFID readers when the person activates
the biometric access control.
• All the equipment that was allocated to such a person should be present before access will be granted.
Shift Clearance - (No Employees in Mine)
• Management System monitors which employees are inside and outside the mining area.
• Management System monitors that all employees are outside mining area for blasting or after a shift.
Equipment Management
• Equipment is registered on the Management System with assigned RFID and Barcodes.
• Equipment is allocated to employees with Barcode scanning and RFID read.
• All the equipment in stock are Barcode scanned after each shift to monitor stock levels.
• Faulty and damaged equipment is Barcode scanned and allocated for repairs.
• Missing Equipment is removed from system with the manual enter of the Barcode.
• Equipment can be de-allocated from employees with a Barcode scan.
• Spare equipment is allocated to employees with Barcode scanning and RFID read
